I'm a friendly kitty that loves to get chin scratches. Even though I'm positive for FIV I can still live a great life and co-exist with other cats. FIV is not transmitted by sharing food or water. It's a condition that is also not able to be transmitted by sharing a littler box.  And cats like me live just a long a life!  FIV is only transmitted by deep bite wounds that draw blood. In most cases that may happen with outside cats that have not been fixed and get into territorial fights and an infected cat may then pass it on to another cat through a bite.  Living indoors being fully vaccinated and away from predators and not exposed to the outside dangers keeps me safe healthy and at no risk.  show less
