Picking the perfect kitten is like picking the perfect Christmas Tree, hands down there's no better choice than a Blue Spruce Christmas tree, the same can be said about Spruce the kitten. He may not be blue but is absolutely a gorgeous boy.  He was born around September 30th, 2020. Spruce came to us in pretty rough shape. He weighed less than half of what a kitten his age should have weighed. He fought really hard to make it to be the healthy kitten he is today. It took a team of us with hard work and dedication, but he is finally at weight and ready to be adopted. He is a spitfire though. He's still learning to trust humans. I can't imagine how hard his life must have been before he came to me, but he really deserves a home where he can be the center of attention. Spruce is litterbox trained and looking for his purrfect forever home. He would love a fur baby to play with. Please consider adding this gorgeous, spunky Spruce to your family.  ☃️✨🎅🌲 For adoption inquiries, please visit our website www.bthnm.org and click apply on the pet you're interested in. All of our pets are in foster homes in the greater Albuquerque area. The steps to getting a new furry friend include: the completion of an adoption application, a home visit, and an adoption approval, along with the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, chip, and age appropriate vaccines. Or get two for $225.  We look forward to helping you complete your family, soon. show less

The children were nestled all snug in their bed while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads. This sweet girl Sugar Plum came to us in pretty rough shape. She weighed less than half of what she should have for kitten her age. But through lots of dedication and hard work, we've gotten her healthy and she's ready for adoption. She was born around September 30th, 2020. So maybe she'll be dreaming of sugar plums at her new home. We don't know exactly the situation she came from. But this week girl deserves only the best! She's still a little bit shy. She likes to snuggle up with you, but isn't used to sudden movements. She likes to play with several different kinds of toys. The balls that go round and round in the circle toys is her favorite. It's actually the first toy she played with when she was able to walk. Sugar Plum gets along well with her foster siblings. She and her little brother, Spruce, are especially close. She would love a fur baby to play with and help her learn the world isn't so scary. ❄️💜😻💜❄️ Sugar Plum is litterbox trained and looking for her purrfect forever home.  For adoption inquiries, please visit our website www.bthnm.org and click apply on the pet you're interested in.
