Sweet Bliss is a beautiful young 1.5-2.5yo Belgian Malinois who was saved from a backyard breeder. Bliss was used as a breeder and just weaned her litter of puppies mid December. She can be hesitant of strangers as a mal typically is but with a sweet voice and some treats, she warms up quickly. Eager to please, Bliss takes direction very well and craves praise. She has a calm sweet demeaner and has no issues just chillin with her people. Bliss has an excellent nose and would be a great canidate for anyone wanting to do scent training. She does best with older children but she does get overwhelmed a bit with small children. Bliss seems to do ok with other animals such as cats, gaots, and livestock and is even fond of chickens. She walks well on a leash and is house broken. She is crate trained as well and has a current obsession of going in there for her own breaks! She has met other dogs of varying sizes and so far seems unbothered by them. She would do best with someone who is home a lot and who wants to give her lots of attention. Anyone who adopts Bliss will get a loyal and sweet champion. Bree is a very friendly and sweet 6-7 year old Belgian Malinois. She knows, come, sit, lay down, leave it and may know more commands we have not discovered in the short period of time she has been in MAD Rescue.  She loves to go for walks and walks nicely on a leash.  She loves toys, especially her squeaky ball, and plays a mean game of tug.  She is the momma to the Arabian Nights Litter in Georgia, 3 boys and one girl.  We believe the Arabian Nights will be Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Mix and look forward to doing a DNA testing. Bree is good with older children and other dogs, as always slow introductions to set everyone up for a success.  She has not been tested her with small dogs or cats.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Briar was found with her sister in a back alley by her current foster.  Her sister has found her furrever home, and now it's Briar's turn! Briar is a Belgian malinois and boxer puppy - what a combo! She's affectionate and loyal to her handler. She aims to please and loves be cuddled up with her foster family. However, the world can be a scary place, and she can be shy with new people but does warm up quickly.  Briar would thrive with a experienced handler who has the time to work with her. Compared to her sister, Briar is more affectionate and sticks with you like glue - velcro dog anyone!? Briar is doing well in the foster's home with two small dogs and one extra large dog, and does great even with her 5yo.  Though she is a mal - so she will continute to grow and is best suiting in a home with older kids so she doesn't accidentally know over a youngin' during play time.  Briar is doing great with cate training as she's already getting the hang of it! Potty training is currently a work in progress, but she's a quick learner, true to the mal in her. Briar will be an awesome hiking buddy for her future handler with some leash training, but may need some confidence building if you're hiking to waterfalls as she's currently so scared of what that she even barks at the rain!  Briar is a sweet dog, full of personality, she's a wonderful companion. Please apply to adopt if you think she could be the mal mix for you! Meet Bullet.  Affectionally called "Bullie," he is the sweetest dog with a wonderful temperament, and an all-around goofy fellow.  He is a gorgeous one year-old neutered Malinois (possibly GSD mix, which lends to his goofy personality) that was owner surrendered because his family was moving. Staff reported he was delivered to the shelter in a wire crate strapped onto the back of an open trailer. Being accepted by MAD is the best thing to ever happen for Bullet as it became apparent that he was unvetted but thankfully healthy, underfed, and had never been inside a home or vehicle. As such, he is quickly learning leash manners and house manners. Riding in a vehicle is still a challenge for him, but his foster mom is working with him on this as well.  Staff also said he had a young boy upset to be losing his best friend who must have loved him dearly and played with him for hours. Bullet loves to play hard and he leans against you for affection before racing off to find a toy for you to toss to him. His favorite thing to do when you let him out of his crate is to take a biiiiiig stretch and slump down on your feet for belly rubs. He is a handsome, fun loving guy who is learning fast and has the temperament and talent to be the best dog you ever had. Bullet recently went through a two week board and train to evaluate what he knew, his skillset and to really get to the bottom of his nerves around riding in a vehicle. Watch his video! Bullie is currently working on not showing a redirection when he is overwhelmed in new situations. His redirect inlcudes jumping up and or putting an arm gently in his mouth. Meet Delta!  If only she could tell us about her adventures!  She was found as a stray along I-95 in Virginia. It took 3 days for a wonderful group of local animal rescuers to trap and capture her.  No chip and no one claimed her. She's moved to her foster and we'll be getting her fully vetted and learning more about her personality. SHe is heartworm positive and her treatements are expected to be finished in November. She will be available to go to her furever home around that time. From what we know at this time, she is perfectly suited for a sport home or even drug K9! This 9-year-old GSD/Malinois cross is the sweetest, most loving, most loyal companion you’ll ever meet. She was originally pulled from a California shelter, where she was taken after serious neglect. Back then, Donna didn’t trust many people. Who could blame her? Luckily, she’s grown past all that and is blossoming into the amazing dog she was always meant to be. She has bonded hard and fast to her fosters. Although she's initially suspicious of visitors, she warms up as long as they go slow, let her set the pace and reward her approaches with tasty treats. Donna thrives on affection, praise and treats, and she'll happily do anything her people ask of her. She loves spending time with her foster mom and her boyfriend, going for walks or car excursions, exploring new places and chilling with her people at home. She is a champion snuggler and likes to fall asleep spooning next to her foster mom or draping herself over her. Donna walks perfectly on a leash, is crate trained and nondestructive, sits nicely for pawdicures and ear cleaning, and is professionally obedience trained. She loves learning new things and enjoys treats, chew toys, stuffies and frozen raw chicken quarters. Donna will thrive best with an experienced owner or couple with either no kids or older kids who understand boundaries. She is easily redirected from cats and has fostered with several. In the past, she has shown some prey drive toward small livestock. With dogs, she's selective so she'd do well as the only dog in her home. If there is another dog, Donna would most enjoy either a calmly curious puppy she can mold to her or a mellow older dog who gives her space. Are you ready for love? Donna is located in Illinois, but transport can be arranged for the right home. Apply for her today.   If you are interested in adopting this pet, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic. Finely is a true puppy Maligator. He was scheduled to be euthanized in a central California shelter. He was found as stray and is adjusting really well to home life. Foster mom cannot believe why someone would not want him since he is really just a big energetic puppy who just wants to be loved! He is very sweet and green. He is learning very quickly and knew his name w/in a few tries. He is starting to learn Sitz, Platz, Bleib and Place. He walks pretty nicely on leash. He's working on potty and crate training. He loves his handler so much that he recalls easily. He is sooooo excited when food comes out he can barely hold still. He's doing great with hand feeding and figuring out engagement. He's learning to wait for his turn. He is motivated by food, affection and toys. He loves to tug. He is more focused on other dogs than balls when they are out playing.  He plays well with dogs and makes new friends at stores and while on walks. He can get a bit over excited when on walks but learning how to walk by other dogs. He loves to wrestle but can also back off when the other dog doesn't like his playstyle. He's great around food or toys, no resource guarding at all. He is very much a velcro dog and doesn't like leaving the handler's side. He would love a playful fur-sibling b/c he loves to wrestle and run around with him. He isn't really that interested in toys other than how they relate to other dogs. He would rather grab a ball and get a dog to chase him than focus on the ball itself. He does also have an off switch - after he's been exercised and mentally exhausted.  He will make someone very very happy! He just needs someone dedicated to show him the ropes! He loves running through the forest, so someone outdoorsy and/or active would be ideal for him! He is pretty agile even in puppy mode and can jump! He doesn't try to jump fences just likes leaping.  He is untested with kids but he is quite mouthy and jumpy so would say no young kids. He is untested with cats but had fun chasing chicken [not to hurt just looked like he had fun chasing], so best no cats.  All dogs come with a Fi Collar and one year subscription.  Follow her on FaceBook: #madlovefinley If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Let me tell you a little story about MAD Fury aka Foo-Foo, Monkey, Munchkin, Pumpkin, Jelly Bean, Gremlin: She was scheduled to die. The shelter didn’t understand her trauma. Being on the street as a smaller dog is tough. She had to learn how to survive and she’s very good at it. It translates in her being very vocal about needing her space - from people and dogs. It worked, she survived … until she was caught! MAD took her in because we saw more than the scared scary dog. And she is SO much more!! She’s been on a journey with her foster from Idaho to Utah to Colorado and currently in Washington. She adjusts really well to new places and an inconsistent schedule. She’s been the easiest foster when it comes to house manners and off leash hiking! She’s perfect in the house (aside from the occasional snatching of food on counter). She makes the cutest face when she wants something. You can just look at her and she starts wiggling her tail! She will patiently wait for your return and be so excited to see you…whether you’re gone for a minute or 5 hours! She will make you feel loved! She has worked on her resource guarding and she’s a lot better. She’s learning to wait for her food. However, this needs to be taken into consideration when you have other dogs. Although she’s very vocal she never gets into a serious fight with her foster fur sister. They have a perfect dynamic which she will need in her forever home - she needs a sibling who is neutral, confident and non-reactive. She needs a sibling who won’t fight her over a toy or food but rather walks away. She will need a sibling who is confident enough to not get bothered by her display when they meet - she demands boundaries through bark and hackling up. However, after about 30 min she will engage in play. She loves wrestling and playing tug-a-war with her fur brother!! She would love a furry friend! She just needs time to warm up and know that the other dog isn’t a threat!  Even though she can look like an evil gremlin when she bares her teeth and hackles up, it’s all show. That’s how she talks, plays and asks for space. She loves chewing on hands and tries to move your hands around when she plays. She doesn’t have a soft mouth but she also doesn’t want to hurt. That’s just how she plays and communicates. Yes, she may bark and hackle up at people to create distance but really she wants cuddles and love…she just needs to make sure you’re safe and to be trusted. She needs someone who understands her and advocates for her! She is great in crowds and can walk through it without any issue…she mostly just gets intimidated when someone pays attention to her. Please understand where she is coming from, she may never be that friendly super social dog. She's met dogs on hikes and after a bit of walking together she does well but proper introductions are a must.  At home, she is perfect. While her foster mom works from home, she sleeps, sometimes comes to get pets. She’s just perfect as a buddy for your work at home time! She is territorial like all working breeds and will bark at anything outside the house/car/fence, so if you like a protective dog, she's your girl.  She loves going on outings and has no problem going on 8 hours derives cross country! She loves sticking her head out the window! She loves putting her head on a shoulder creeping forward to give kisses. Sometimes she jumps in the trunk to yell at the wipers. She loves water and hikes! She loves running around in the forest, at the beach, in a field etc and will need that in her future! When she starts running at full speed she looks like a torpedo dashing through the field/woods! She has great recall - absolutely loves running back to her hooman! She always seeks out water and is a strong swimmer. She will need someone active - biking would be fun for her, possibly - she needs to run! She will also need a yard - you don’t want too experience her zoomies in an apartment. She’s praise, love, food and toy motivated! She has tried Scent work and the trainer was astounded by her natural talent!!! She would thrive in that world! She's currently trying out Barn Hunt...she's a bit spooked by the rat in the cage and the new environment but is warming up to it.  Things she is learning: sit, down, place, come, stay, off, touch, break. She doesn’t like to be in a submissive position like down…so that’s going a bit slower. Waiting before exciting house/car. Waiting her turn. Sitting to get collar/leash on. Heel - she’s pretty good on leash but doesn’t have a pretty heel. Auto sit in heel. Quirks: she doesn’t like to get picked up and can panic, so slowly getting her used to that. Terrible with nail clipping. Has lots of energy to burn so sometimes she just runs back and forth in the house. She makes a lot of noises. She barks at the car window closing/opening. She whips her head around when a fast truck goes by. She loves giving kisses but please be warned she doesn’t ask for consent and is quite intense with her loving! Absolute Velcro dog - will follow you into the shower and lick you dry after. Barks and hackels at strange dogs and people as well as when she is excited and in play mode.  She is so ready for a loving home who understands her and wants to love her. Someone who can see past her tough “pufferfish” (hackles, bark) exterior and learn about the sweet, loving dog underneath! She deserves a home where she can thrive! She needs an experienced handler who can set her up for success.  This home should be experienced with working breeds, have no kids or prey animals. Is your family ready for your next adventure buddy!? Welp, you found her - Gabby is an All Around GEM! Gabby is a Belgian Malinois/GSD mix and estimated about 8mo old.  She came into the rescue severely emaciated and ill, but she's now got a clean bill of health ready to find her furrever home! Gabby is an endearing, naturally confident, happy-go-lucky unicorn mal.  She generally ignores small animals - even bunnies - so can likely be in a home with small dogs and/or cats with proper introductions.  She's great with female and male big dogs alike, and even settles right in with a big group of dogs at her first service training class in December!  She's overall a low drive, but high energy pup.  She can keep up with you on your wildest adventures and be down to try anything new, yet be just as stoked to soak up your loves cuddling on the couch afterwards. Are you looking for an all-arounder Mal?  If so, don't hesitate to apply to adopt Gabby! We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Meet Griffin, a big beautiful boy in VA looking for his forever home. Griffin is a 4 year old neutered male - a sweet, loving dog who responds joyfully to his current foster/trainer. He is crate trained, and has been working to refresh his commands - sit, down, stay, heel, climb, free. He has a lot of ball drive, and enjoys opportunities to both work and play. He is neutral when on leash around other dogs, but would not do well in homes with cats, other small animals, or young children due to his high prey drive. When he was originally placed with his current foster, he was extremely reactive around people he didn't know. This has gotten better - he will redirect easily, but an adopter would need to be experienced in establishing and maintaining boundaries to continue this progress. Griffin is still discovering the world is not such a frightening place and will need someone who will take the time necessary to establish trust and a good working relationship.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Hipster is a sweet and lovable adult male Malinios. Hipster walks well on a leash and loves going out for walks. He doesn't ask for much other than love from his human! With proper and very slow introductions he can do well with submissive dogs but definiltye loves his humans more. He is a very loyal and protective boy who needs someone to provide him with the mental and phsyical stimulation that a working breed requires. He does not do well with prey animals even though he didn't mind a hamster. We recommend either no or older breed-savvy children.  Hipster's foster/trainer is working on Conditioned Emotional Response (CER) training, in which the goal is to change the way the dog responds to stress. Hipster is learning a lot at his new foster's home and is doing really well. When he becomes overstimulated, he learned to go to his place. He is learning to be a confident boy! Hipster is a sweet boy but, like a typical Malinois, he can get jealous so he requires a breed-savvy and very experienced home that understands his needs, someone who can set good boundaries and someone who is able to continue the training he has received - his foster will be able to help teach his new owner. Continued training is a must for this boy! If you are looking for a loyal companion who isn't the typical high drive/energy Mal, Hipster is for you! Lanyla is truly the sweetest girl! She is so loving with people and kids. She's a low/medium drive girl who is just waiting for her new family to love on her. She does well with male and female dogs. She is good with cats and didn't blink an eye at a bunny while out and about. She does engage in play w/ her fur siblings but isn't super interested in fetch. She would be fine either as an only dog or with fur siblings.  She has come such a long way! She is a fast learner and is picking up obedience really well and will need someone who can continue the work! She sometimes is still unsure of new things but with reassuarance she quickly warms up. She is truly is a velcro dog and will stick by your side even off leash.  She loves car rides and just being with her family! She is gentle and sweet and hopes to find a forever home soon! Introducing Loki, a young Belgian Malinois, located in Michigan. Loki is a velcro Mal that loves his person and demands attention!  He has had some training with a professional trainer to help him overcome some issues with new people (currently not a huge fan of strangers). We recently did an eval of Loki and it took less than 5 minutes before he would take a treat from our volunteer and then less than 15 minutes before he was in their lap and doing the "Belgian ean in". This guy loves treats and is very food motivated. He loves ball too but will take a treat over a toy. He is living with several kids at this time, but herds the children too much while nipping at them. Because of this, he will not be placed in a home with young children. He will need continued work on socialization with new people and his training. He knows several commands including sit, down, roll-over and paw. He is smart and picks up new commands very quickly. His ideal home will have a little space for him to have room to run and romp. He is good with other dogs especially females, though he will try to be pushy with some dogs. He loves to go places and for car rides and trips. He is crate trained and house broken. Loki the God of Chaos and Mischief just wants his own person and new home. He is up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm negative and will be neutered prior to placement. Does this mischievious, lovey boy sound right for you? Maeve is ready for her furrever home! Remember sweet Maeve (pronounced "Maiv")? Used up as a breed dog and dumped, starving, full of intestinal worms, and half her body with no fur from fleas and poor diet. She had pressure sores from never laying on a soft surface and she was severely underweight. Honestly, she was a hot mess! Well Maeve today, with the help of MAD Rescue and her amazing foster, is loving life!! She still has a few months of heartworm treatment and she will need some dental work, but she has shown us how strong she is and how much she wants to live and be loved and despite the cruelty she has been through, Maeve is an absolute sweetheart!!!! Below is what her foster tells us. Extremely sweet and loves attention. Very good with new people that I have seen. Gets attached to one person pretty strong. No problems at the vet. Minimum to no basic obedience. Not destructive. Low drive for almost everything, but has shown interest in playing with other dogs briefly and chased a ball or two as her condition improves. Dog neutral on leash. Dog-to-dog introductions must be made properly, no dominant dogs. Will haphazardly chase a cat for a second but has not attempted to pin or harm. Loves kittens and puppies, but will guard them from other animals. Crate protective- will snark at other dogs randomly near her her crate, so would reccomend feeding separately. She may be initially protective of her person with other animals. She did not want to share me in the beginning when her group of 5 dogs went out, but it was corrected and limited my paying attention to any one dog, including her outside. Likes to hold and nudge your hand with her mouth. It's extremely soft and mostly toothless. She has not been loose much in the house because of her medical condition. When she has been out, she has gone to the backdoor to pee. She does seem to potty often, but I am hoping that that improves with the change in the number of meals. And her continued recovery from what life has done to her. I have her in a 4x4 x-pen, and she is very good about using washable potty pads at night or if we are gone for a few hours. She is down to 2 meals a day, just started recently. Trying the 4Health Sensitive stomach and skin. We are still blending it down and adding water to make it a canned food consistency. Still adding colostrum twice a day. Because of the reduced amount of fiber in the 4Health food, I have added 1 TSP of Metamucil twice a day to make sure she is pooping good. Medically- Needs to start her Heartworm injections, starting first week of February. Will need to be on strict crate rest for approximately 3-4 months. She will need a dental after she has recovered from her Heartworm treatment. The extent of what is wrong with her mouth could be determined at that time. She is still being treated as having megacolon. This may correct itself over time, but will need to be monitored very closely. Does not need a malinois experienced family, but reccomended that if the family has other dogs, that they have experience with dominant/protective dogs and know how to do proper introductions. Does not need very active home. Couch potato type girl! I think working from home or retired would be perfect. She showed some separation anxiety early on, but our routine has helped. She may be a little vocal as she gets into a new routine. Can you provide Maeve with a wonderful, loving home where she can enjoy the rest of her years?  _________________________________________ If you are interested in fostering or adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Sweet Maggie is a 6-year-old Malinois/GSD who is waiting patiently for her forever home. If you’ve ever considered adopting this breed, Maggie would make a great starter companion. Do you want puppy-like excitement without the training? Then Maggie may be your gal! Her house manners are impeccable, and she is perfectly crate trained. Maggie is a discriminating connoisseur of treats. Both toy and food motivated, she listens to her humans with rapt attention. Maggie knows basic obedience and is eager to please. She’s responsive to English, German, and Dutch commands.  Loose leash walking and recall is a breeze, and she will joyously accompany you on all adventures! Maggie has a wonderful disposition and loves people. But she does not love cats and requires a cat-free home. While she gets along well with dogs in public situations, she can be reactive with her toys; therefore, an only pet household is preferred. Fostered in Montana, Maggie is surrounded by wildlife; though true to her breed, she has a high prey drive and will chase smaller animals. Maggie loves hiking, traveling, and fetching her tug. She dreams of having a forever home where she will be loved and cherished. Could that be you? 1 year old Mischa (boy dog) was found as a stray, running down a Florida neighborhood street. He is a high energy, strong, potty trained dog, who has gotten formal training (leash walking, place, sit, heal), but needs a disciplined owner to hold him accountable. He will challenge your commands almost every time. He loves car rides, likes his walks and to run, and to be everywhere the owner is. He loves to snuggle and love on his owner in the nighttime, when his active life of activities calm down. Unlike some, he is motivated by tug of war toys (not many other toys) and smelling his environment (trees and grass). Best for an active lifestyle and/or an experienced Dutch Shepard/Belgian Malinois owner, who knows what this breed demands. He is current with all shots and will be neutered brefore he's adopted.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Chloe is an 8 month old Malinois/GSD mix. She is learning basic obedience and walks well on a leash. She is food and toy motivated. She does not counter surf and is easily redirected. She is overall low drive, but is energetic. She is currently fostered with two 40 lb dogs and two dog-savvy cats. She is curious and friendly towards the cats. She has met children and did great. She hasn’t met anyone she doesn’t love. Chloe enjoys being with the family, but will happily take a bone to her bed and chew it.  Chloe is not a big fan of the car. We are working on increasing her comfort level and she is getting much better. Continued desensitization and positive reinforcement will go a long way in making her a happy traveler. Chloe broke her elbow and it resulted in her being crated for a long period of time. A forever home where she is allowed to roam or contained in a comfortable area with gates is preferred. She is not destructive and she is house trained. Due to the unfortunate injury to her elbow, Chloe will not be able to participate in sports and her forever family will need to make sure she doesn't re-injure her elbow through rough play or intense exercise. She loves sniffing walks and would be excellent at scentwork! Chloe is very playful and energetic and enjoys playing in the backyard,  Chloe will benefit from continued obedience training, and opportunities to stimulate her mentally. She is ready for a forever home where she can love on her people to her heart's content. She is the sweetest girl and would love a family to call her own! Ms Sage is currently being fostered in Ohio, she's a 2 year old 65 pound Dutch Shepard who was ownder surrendered because she was not a great Momma.  This sweet girl is very well behaved, great with dogs, house broken a super, cuddle bug, walks well on a leash and is pulling a bit and has great recall!  She does have a little too much interest in cats on her walks so a non cat home would be best but she shows little to no prey drive for squirrels. Her foster family has said she has basic understanding of common commands (sit down, stay, come here, no) – not immediate obedience and seems to know ‘drop it’ while playing very well.  She's not skittish to noises.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. Nala is a sweet 3 yo spayed female Dutch Shepherd. She is a bit hesitant at first, but warms up quickly and seeks attention. She LOVES to play fetch and will play tug as well. Toys are her jam!  Nala focuses more on her handler than other dogs or things in the environment. She loves spending time with her person. She gets along with cats and was non-reactive to the chickens. She has done well with young children (per the owner surrender). She does well on car rides and she seems to walk very well on a leash. Nala will try to chew her way out of a metal crate. Two of her canines are down to small stubs and she is seeing a vet about them. The foster is working on her crate training into an airline crate, with less bars to chew one and she slept the second night at her house all night with the crate door closed and no anxiety!!  Again, continued work on this will be needed to associate positive with crates. She doesn't yet appear to be destructive otherwise.  Nola did well with a calm male dog with initial introductions on leash at the shelter. She also is getting along fine with the foster's female dog. She will try to be the dominant dog in the house until she learns otherwise. She will attempt to resource guard her person and toys. This is a common trait in the Mal/DS breed and should not be allowed. Continued training on this will be needed. The foster is off to a good start to turn this around.  Watch more videos of Nala on her YouTube Playlist at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7NuP5IImg15Vak0jA4phbunsUBBXI1rz   ____________________________________ If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Orion is an emaciated 10 month old male Belgian Malinois that was an owner surrender to an Atlanta shelter.  No one, shelter staff and MAD Rescue volunteers alike can fathom how something like this could happen to a wonderfully sweet boy.  MAD Rescue to the Rescue, volunteers posted the plight of Orion on the MADs main page on Facebook and a medical foster was found who will care for Orion and nurse him back to health.  His freedom ride went from Georgia to Tennesse where he resides with the most wonderful foster mom ever.  Orion has little to no body fat so he needs to stay warm.  He is also slightly anxious because only good things have happened since he entered MAD's care, he certainly doesn't want to lose this.  His foster mom puts a thundershirt on him for anxiety and an added sweatshirt to stay warm when he goes outside to play.  He is being vetted by a local vet and once we know how his health and weight gain is progressing we will update the main page on Facebook. We look forward to getting to know him because as it stands he is just learning about toys, treats, and  nutritious foods.  We will update when we know more. Welcome Phoebe to MAD Rescue.  Phoebe is a beautiful 4 year old Dutch Shepherd surrendered to MAD by a family that can no longer keep her.  She is the total package great with children ages 0-12 years old, good with large and small dogs, plays a bit of chase into the garage with the family cat and then leaves it alone, obedience trained, housebroken, kennel trained, we just can't say enough about this wonderful girl. Oh and do I dare mention ball, she loves to play fetch with her ball.  She is respectful in all she does, waiting for you to play with her, takes treats gently from your hand, and she has been to many social places including childrens sports games.  She doesn't react negatively to loud noises, so she is good to go on fireworks or other loud noises. Now, we don't know everything, but we will shortly, she has a wonderful foster who will make her transition from one family to another smooth sailing.  As we find out more about MADs Phoebe we will update.   If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
